Anyone who has been reading my blog for a while might remember (before I got caught up and fascinated with Twitter) that my background is in consumer software marketing. So many of my older blog posts were tips on how to make your product viral, cross selling ,etc. Since this sort of thing is really my core competency, I will try to get back to more posts about social media marketing soon. Meanwhile, check out the awesome, non intrusive way these guys get YOU to spread their gospel and populate their product.
In the image below, notice (it even lets you opt out) the message that you automatically Tweet should you allow it.
In case the image is to small to read, the result is that Twiffid automatically sends a Tweet from you with phrases such as "
Having fun at http://www.twiffid.com 26 minutes ago from Twiffid". They of course correctly let you put in your own substitute message as well.
